Course Fees
Course fee: $3,495 per doctor, 1/2 price for assistants. (Note: If you sign up and pay in full by September 26th, the doctor receives a $500 discount and the assistants a $250 discount.) Ask about AOS financing options.

Typodonts are required to perform Hands–On Exercises. Please bring your typodont fully banded. First molar bands require .022 slots, gingival buccal tubes, and horizontal lingual sheaths. A list of recommended instruments will be provided prior to Session I.

David W. Jackson, DDS, FAGD, IBO

Dr. Dave, a native of Dallas, graduated from Baylor University in 1972. He then attended pharmacy school at the University of Texas, taught mathematics in two private schools and graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1978. Dr. Jackson’s accomplishments in dentistry, orthodontics, and civics include:

Dr. Jackson is married to his wife Beth of 24 years has three children David II (21), Sarah, and Daniel (15). He resides in Heath, Texas. His hobbies include taking care of his farm animals (cows, goats, donkeys, and horses), documenting orthodontic cases and writing about them, fi shing, boating, singing and family functions.

Dr. Jackson operates two highly successful practices in Farmersville and Rowlett Texas and employees over twenty-fi ve employees. He lectures extensively for the American Orthodontic Society and the International Association for Orthodontics. His insight to the real world of orthodontics in the general and pediatric dental offi ce is honest, sincere, informative, and entertaining. We know you will see his genuine desire to advance your orthodontic knowledge base.

Course Description
The Next Steps is intended to further your orthodontic education. The Next Steps is a course designed for the orthodontic practitioner who has just completed a basic course, and/or the doctor who may have been practicing orthodontics and would like an update in the latest concepts. The course will consist of clinical lectures on Friday and Saturday with a half-day Sunday devoted to reviewing your cases that you may be having difficulties with and/or orthodontic cases you are considering for treatment. A total of 80 continuing hours of credit may be gained (20 per session).

Monitoring Policy
Students may monitor for free the year following their initial participation in the class. Previous participants may retake the series or single sessions at half price, space permitting.

Schedule Flexibility
Sessions between cities may be interchanged. A missed session can be taken the next year.

Schedule
Registration begins at 7:30 AM. Classes Friday and Saturday will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Sunday will be from 8:00 AM until noon. (80 hours of continuing education).

Recognition
The American Orthodontic Society is an Accepted Program Provider of the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing education programs of the AOS are accepted for FAGD/MAGD credit. A total of 80 hours will be granted for this course.

DALLAS: Crown Plaza Addison, Addison, Texas. Please call at least four (4) weeks in advance to take advantage of our room block. Call 972.980.8877 for room reservations.

SAN DIEGO: Classes will be held at the Ortho Organizers facility at 1822 Aston Avenue, Carlsbad, California. A list of nearby hotels will be provided upon registration.
