Course Objectives
- This course is ideally structured for the general or pediatric dentist who has no orthodontic training other than dental school.
- This program provides the participant practical, predictable and systematic orthodontic mechanics to treat 80% of malocclusions that are presented to your practice.
- The course will teach you case selection, proper diagnosis, orthodontic records, non-extraction treatment mechanics, and case finishing.
Dr. Schmidbauer's course is sponsored by the American Orthodontic Society, along with a year-round program of ADA and AGD-recognized courses for the practitioner and auxiliary.

Class meets from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Friday and Saturday, and from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm on Sunday.

Founded in 1975, the American Orthodontic Society is America's largest orthodontic educational association for general and pediatric dentists. In addition to our quality continuing education programs, the AOS provides many valuable membership benefits designed to make orthodontics an enjoyable and profitable part of your practice.
Recognition
The American Orthodontic Society is an Accepted Program Provider of the American Dental Association. The formal continuing education programs of the AOS are accepted for FAGD/MAGD credit. A total of 80 hours will be granted for full participation in this course. 20 hours per session.
