What you can look forward to...
Each weekend seminar - customized to YOUR needs - will consist of lecture, as well as hands-on. Topics to be explored include: integrating and managing orthodontics in the general or pediatric dental office, overcoming challenges in orthodontics, tips and assistance with orthodontic mechanics, complex treatment planning, functional/dysfunctional occlusion, and the current state-of-the-art in diagnosis and in orthodontic bonding. Restorative, crown and bridge, and cosmetic dentistry too often fail and/or frustrate the dentist and the patient when occlusion is poor. In your mastermind seminar, we will examine the challenge of pre- or post- orthodontic treatment in patients who present uncomfortable or non-functional occlusions. Evaluation, diagnosis and treatment protocols will be discerned with the goals of both preventing and treating in such situations, making your patient an ally, not an adversary. Learn how to find and communicate with your restorative laboratory so that they can deliver occlusally stable functional permanent restorations. Learn how to master problem cases. (Hint: These problems are occlusally-based.) Learn how to take problem patients and convert them to lifelong patients who are happy to be seen by you and whom you are happy to see. And get paid for it!
Skill-building mastermind hands-on exercises will increase your comfort, efficiency and effectiveness of diagnosis and orthodontics. As always, you are welcome to bring a staff member for only half-fee for all five (5) sessions, (or pro-rated for individual sessions.) And, as you work on your AOS tier advancement and board cases, your seminar weekends are the perfect time to bring cases and fine-tune your presentation formats.
